I colored this picture for my Mom this morning on the computer!

And I love the moon!

I love to do experiments. I want to share some of my experiments with you on my page.

Crater experiment

One Saturday, I wanted to make craters in some flour using some metal balls.  I saw this before at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science!

First, we gathered the materials we needed: a towel, a baking pan, some flour, and the metal balls.

Next, we put the flour into the pan and got ready to drop the first ball.

Next, we took pictures of the craters!

Finally, we took a short movie so we could get these really neat action shots!

Oil, water, and corn syrup experiment

First, we put corn syrup and then vegetable oil and then water (with red food coloring) into a clear cup.  The three different liquids separated into three different layers.  We'll have to do this experiment again so we can take a picture!
